A Throwback To Taipei

This is a going to be a throwback post, which is picking some of my old memorable trip with my beloved ones, to share with y'all and it also matches today -- our Throwback Thursday!

I had a summer vacation with two of my bestfriends to Taiwan last May. It was such a spontaneous decision right after our final year exams.

This is the rural area in Taipei. We had a long way trip by train to finally get there. It is famous for its railway, where there are lots of tourists would take photos in it. It is also being so famous after a film casting there. We were attracted by its bits of vintage atmosphere.

The next destination that I would like to share is a place like an old village, where people were used to live in like a neighbourhood.

The Taiwanese Government has much concern on local art and creative industry. Therefore, this place has now turned into a handicraft and DIY products trade market, which is called the 'Simple Market'. Those products selling there are all handmade and unique. But be aware of that the Simple Market is only open on weekends. There are also indoor and outdoor cafes for visitors to chill around, having a nice chat with friends and family. There are also workshops and music concerts in particular dates. I appreciated that this place has become a combination of old and youth, where it is an area of old buildings and at the same time it attracts lots of young people to gather here or even start off their tiny businesses.

Nottingham Castle

It's the fifth week that I arrived in Nottingham, and finally had visited the Nottingham Castle last weekend with my friends. It is just a ruin and some remaining parts of the original Castle and had turned into something like a museum, showing some of the history of Nottingham. There is a part in it I found interesting, it's called something like 'Hood in the wood', showing the famous character of Nottingham -- Robin Hood. It is interesting in the way that the whole area of that floor looks childish and playful, the area is not big, but cozy and warm feeling like being at home. Visiting something like a tourist destination for sure a gift shop is never the less. Being like a one-day tourist, I apparently had bought something tourist-like! I got some postcards there and they are ready for posting now.  It was really a nice day out and I gained bits of the history base from the Castle!

Goose Fair Nottingham

Went to the Goose Fair last Saturday with my flatmates. It was not a sunny day yet, was so much fun and the Fair was marvellous. My first ride was the bumper car. Then, we went on a roller coaster. Followed up with some other rides. They were all so exciting and we had a great time. My day ended up with a Chips 'n' Cheese in the Fair. We were supposed to visit it again on Sunday for a Farris Wheel ride, but we didnt know that it closed at 9 on Sunday, so we missed it and now regreting. Hope next year we can all be here again for another rides.

BOLIVIA UYUNI SALT LAKE

This is Uyuni Salt Lake in Bolivia. It is my all-time favourite place to visit. Its another name is "The Mirror of the Sky". Being there would definitely like in Heaven. Feeling carefree and absolutely blown by the marvellous sky. The scenery is total breath-taking.

It has been the top 10 tourist destinations in recent years and people in Bolivia had earn a lot from its increasing status in tourism. There are also hotels made by pure salt. I wish to visit this place as soon as possible.
